Description (EN): One Drop project objectives are studying, designing and developing a mobile water purification plant-based methodology for ecologically safe and economic solution on water treatment.

Description (FI): One Drop hankkeen tavoitteena on tutkia, suunnitella ja kehittää liikkuva vedenpuhdistusmenetelmä, joka tukee ekologisesti turvallista ja taloudellisesti kannattavia ratkaisuja veden käsittelyssä.

Description (RU): Целями проекта One Drop являются изучение, проектирование и разработка мобильных водоочистных установок для экологически безопасной и экономичной очистки воды.

Achievements (EN):

These solutions are applicable for regional cases such as: Issue of pharmaceutical pollutants in Rakkola river, Lappeenranta wastewater treatment plant, mineral pollutants such as red mud, jarosite and acid mine drainage, Krasny Bor Industrial Water Contamination, Industrial water pollution pit andBallast water microorganism pollution. Comprehensive research on sodium ferrate production technology including development of experimental model of sodium ferrate production module, Sodium ferrate production, including designing and equipment selection of modules and installation and testing of sodium ferrate generator. The project proved the high efficiency of sodium ferrate in the process of purification of wastewater of various pollution. Investigation of water quality and chemical perspective of usage of sodium ferrate-based water purification. Development of the integrated plant for industrial waste treatment using sodium ferrate. Installation and adjustment of the integrated complex purification unit’s experimental model with sodium ferrate usage. Development of the test program for the integrated complex purification unit’s experimental model with sodium ferrate usage. Design and development of the mobile integrated water purification unit with sodium ferrate usage.

Expected Results (EN):

Main activities include comprehensive research of water quality parameters and their treatment, comparison of novel and conventional methods and analysis, testing and validation of the wide range of research results. The project will also carry out a strategy to meet with the industrial actors and authorities and to develop and disseminate a Model Case on how to address One Drop customers and end-users, which have demand for new technologies, equipment and knowledge.

Expected Results (FI):

Keskeisiä toimenpiteitä ovat veden laadun parametrien ja niiden käsittelyn laaja-alainen tutkimus, uusien ja perinteisten menetelmien vertailu ja kattavien tutkimustulosten analysointi, testaus ja validointi. Hankkeen myötä tavataan myös teollisuuden toimijoita ja viranomaisia - sekä kehitetään ja levitetään mallinnusta, joka sisältää uutta teknologiaa, laitteita ja osaamista tarvitseville One Drop -asiakkaille ja loppukäyttäjille soveltuvia toimintatapoja.

Expected Results (RU):

Основные мероприятия включают в себя комплексное исследование и анализ параметров качества воды, сравнение новых и традиционных методов очистки, тестирование и валидацию исследований. В рамках проекта будут проведены встречи с представителями отрасли и органами власти, а также разработана и распространена типовая модель взаимодействия с клиентами и конечными потребителями One Drop, которым нужны новые технологии, оборудование и знания.
